Departing from Airlie Beach at 9am, you'll be whisked to Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island for a landing at both Hill Inlet and the southern end of the beach, to marvel at its amazing white silica sand. Walk to the Southern Whitehaven lookout with breathtaking views of Pentecost Island and the tropical waters of the Whitsundays, and join the guided walk to the stunning Hill Inlet lookout.

Highlights

Walk to the Southern Whitehaven lookout with breathtaking views of Pentecost Island and the tropical waters of the Whitsundays, and join the guided walk to the stunning Hill Inlet lookout

What To Bring

A beach bag including a towel, hat and sand shoes
A sweater or jacket in the winter months to protect you from the wind and keep you warm after snorkelling
Cameras should be in a waterproof case or Tupperware
Water, soft drinks, fruit juices and chocolates as well as underwater cameras are for sale on board but you are welcome to bring your own
If you have chosen not to have our tropical style lunch, please ensure that you bring your own as we do not visit any resorts during the day

The cruise was fully booked, so it was packed once everyone was seated. Even though it was busier than I expected, I really enjoyed the vibe! Nice music, amazing view and lovely staff! Unfortunately there was a shower and we couldn’t actually get the sunset but it was a lovely evening!

We enjoyed riding a fast boat to Whitehaven beach, seeing the glorious view from the hill inlet & snorkelling the reef.

We had the best day out. The staff at Ocean Rafting are brilliant, super helpful, happy, and attentive. The staff on our boat were constantly checking that everyone was catered for and having a great time, snapping photos and answering questions. Our kids loved it, Whitehaven beach was beautiful, the snorkelling was great fun & the kids loved the thrill of the fast boat - I'd recommend this tour to everyone!

This was a fantastic trip! We really enjoyed every aspect. The food was great, the weather was great, the crew were great! If we ever get back there we will do it again. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a trip for the Inner reef.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Whitsundays. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet Lookout. The tour from start to finish was amazing and would definitely recommend it. The staff were very helpful and made the tour extremely fun. Must do when visiting Whitsundays!

Whitehaven Beach is a MUST-DO if visiting the Whitsundays. The sand is so blinking white! Its really beautiful and water is so clear. I found that by going on the ocean rafting boat it was much quickest to get there meaning more time to relax on the beach. Its also a really fun ride. We were able to snorkel and swim (although we had to wear stinger suits). The lunch too was very good. I would highly recommend this trip. The staff we fantastic!
